Interac Scam Looks Real
I received an email this morning with an Interac E-Transfer.
Many of my clients pay this way, and had I not been paying attention, I may very well have clicked on the link.
We live in a world filled with scams folks.
Be Aware. Be cautious, and if in doubt DON’T CLICK ON IT!
YES ITS FAKE.
If you view message source you can see this came from a server in Brazil. Its DEFINITELY A SCAM
An easier clue, is that if I reply to the email, it sends to a fake @interac.ca address.
Interac transfer does not work that way. If you send me one for real and I reply to you, the email addresses back to you.
